Electric Apps creates Applications “Apps” for merchants to use on the Shopify Platform. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use one of the Apps in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the Apps Collect
When you install an App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
1. Your Shop domain
2. Your Shop name
3. Your Shop’s unique ID
4. The email you to receive notifications from Shopify for your Shop
5. The name listed for the Shop’s owner
6. Your shop’s country code
7. Your Shop’s zip code
8. Your Shop’s contact phone number
9. The primary currency used on your Shop
10. Your timezone
11. Your Shopify Plan
Additionally, we may collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed an App: Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, requests to our servers, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

We use the personal information we collect from you in order to provide the Service and to operate our Apps. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve our Apps; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you require a custom plan for one of our Applications), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Data Retention When You Install One Of Our Applications
We will maintain your Shopify Account Information for our records & use it to our discretion until you ask us to delete this information via email at contact@electricapps.net.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy at any time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Our applications may provide links to other third party websites. Even if the third party is affiliated with us through a business partnership or otherwise, we are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of such external links. These links are provided to you for convenience purposes only and you access them at your own risk.
Confidentiality
We are concerned with the security of your personal information and are committed to protect it from unauthorized access and use of that personal information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, under no circumstances shall you be entitled to recover any special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages from Electric Apps or its Others for any issues, breaches, or damages related to data confidentiality. You agree to release, remise and acquit Electric Apps and its Others from any claims, actions, demands, costs and expenses of any kind whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or tort, at law or in equity, or by statute or otherwise, howsoever caused, with respect to data confidentiality.
